Yoruba traditional weddings are full of color and joy, dance and fun.  The wedding is a very unique celebration. The Grooms family basically comes in and begs for the blessing of the Brides family to have their daughter. There are several gifts and accolades that come as respect for the family including a dowry being paid to the Bride’s family. It was a true pleasure to cover Josephine and Gbenga’s traditional wedding, here are some pics from the celebration.
